The Days Payable Outstanding Index recorded 52.5%, down 5% from 57.5% reported in August. The Technology Spend Index hit 60.5%, up 6% from 54.5% in August. ”

Survey responses reflect any changes for the current month compared to the previous month. Each indicator measured (Business Activity, New Orders, Hiring, Supplier Deliveries, Inventory, Price, Price: Pharmaceuticals, Price: Supplies, Backlog of Orders, Imports, Inventory Sentiment, Case Mix, Days Outstanding, Technical spending, and touchless orders), this report shows the percentage and spread index reporting each response. Responses represent raw data and are never modified.start with January 2021, Business report® Staff and consultants gather market information to better validate export indices. Export index data is still being collected.

Hospital PMI® is a composite index calculated from equally weighted indices such as business activity, new orders, employment, and supplier deliveries. The Diffusion Index is a leading indicator in nature and is a useful summary indicator that indicates the general direction and extent of change. Hospital PMI® Index readings above 50% indicate an overall expansion of the hospital subsector. Less than 50% indicates an overall downward trend. For sub-indexes excluding supplier deliveries, index readings above 50% indicate general sub-index growth. Less than 50% indicates total shrinkage. A supplier delivery index above 50% indicates slow delivery, and below 50% indicates fast delivery.
